Points Credit : 15 points Currently valued at $0.45 2012 marks the 100th Anniversary of the story of Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs. BrownTrout is pleased to present this calendar celebrating this favorite literary and comic character. Tarzan, the heroic boy raised by apes, is one of the most beloved characters in history, appearing in more than 25 books and represented in countless other fictionalizations. Created by author Burroughs, Tarzan is the son of upper-class British travelers who die when their ship is marooned on the African Coast. Only young Tarzan survives, and Burroughs’ original book “Tarzan of the Apes” tells the tale of how he was raised by an ape colony and lived in the jungle until he eventually fell in love with Jane Porter, an American girl shipwrecked at the exact same spot as he had been. The story of Tarzan is compelling told, and his adventures are beautifully displayed in this square wall calendar featuring illustration by......................... Joe Jusko.
